Isn't it both sad and hilarious that some of us really are shocked when "Something Goes Right"?
Also, you're a fan of the new Walker?????? Tell me more!!!!!!!! Also refresh my memory -- what was your opinion of the original? I've been waiting for somebody who could tell me if the new one's worth watching (for something other than Jared)!

I know, right?
Yes, I am a fan of the new Walker, but halfway through season 3, I lost access to watching it, at least for now.
Is it worth watching? That is a very hard question to answer. The show is a bit of a hot mess, mostly because it has a very hard time trying to figure what kind of show it is. The first season overall is basically a 90s era family drama that occasionally remembers it's also a police procedural. It has a lot of growing pains and fumbles it's attempts at tackling social issues. Season two is better. At first, it leans into the police procedural aspect, but eventually finds a balance between that and the family drama aspects, but doesn't hit it's stride until it fully accepts that it is infact a soap opera. Season three, what I saw of it, was better yet, still crazy pants, but it knew what it was. - that is the short, non-spoiler response.
As for the original, I used to like it for casual viewing, but after having to watch it 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, for the last couple years, it's lost it's charm for me. But if you are using that as a metric for if you will like the new Walker, they are two different shows. Aside from a couple references the first season, they are the same show in name only. They back stories and characters aren't even the same.

What always got me interested in Walker was his sidekicks and his Native American roots and spirituality...

Ah. Reboot Walker doesn't really have sidekicks, as he isn't the main focus and everyone is kind of equal. And the native American roots are not part of reboot Walker's backstory at all. Though I am not sure about Walker Independence, as I had to stop watching that before I could see where that love... Pentagon? Was going.
